As a father of two, he is also driven by the opportunity to build something enduring — a company that improves lives today while creating a legacy his children can be proud of.

Jacob Russell is a U.S. Army veteran, paramedic, father, and Co-Founder of Pacesetter. His background in emergency medicine and field-based healthcare gives him firsthand insight into the operational challenges clinicians face every day. As Head of Technology, Jacob leads the development and technical direction of Pacesetter, focusing on building practical, intuitive solutions designed around the real-world needs of mobile healthcare teams. His experience on both the clinical and technology sides helps keep Pacesetter grounded in a simple principle: software should make the work easier, not become another obstacle to getting it done.
